Based on photo timestamps, sometime after 4:44 PM I began waiting for the sunset at the observatory on Mt. TENGU, folding paper cranes.
The camera ran out of battery after 26 minutes and 30 seconds. The last photo was taken at 5:40.
So we cannot know how long the waiting lasted. Time fractured here — became unprovable, uncertain, impossible to confirm.
What remains certain: 13 paper cranes.
Tourists came to the observatory, took their photos, and left. The sky was foggy. Time was foggy too. I never saw the sunset. I simply folded, and quietly passed through that unverifiable stretch of time — slipping, without noticing, into the blue hour.
